										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><b>Behind Kuang Si Waterfalls is the beautiful mountain range of Northern Laos, which is the source of its water. We will visit villages at the foot and middle of the mountains surrounded by the beautiful nature of Laos and have an opportunity to meet with the local hilltribe people through home stays. An adventurous trip to Kuang Si Waterfall that takes a local-only route that is different from the usual tourist route.</b></p>
<h3>2 Days 1 Night</h3>
<h4>Day 1</h4>
<p>Your tour guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Luang Prabang around 8:30-9:00 AM, then we drive to southeast of Luang Prabang about 30 min and arrive at <strong>Ban Huai Pheng Village</strong>. Starting from this village where Khmu and Hmong people live together, we will walk 3 km to <strong>Nong Kouay village</strong>, and in the afternoon we will walk 8-10 km from Nong Kouay village to <strong>Long Lao village</strong>. Hiking about 12 km on the first day. After arriving at the village, you will tour with your guide to see how the Hmong and Khmu people live together and settle into your homestay. Enjoy a dinner of local food. At night, you will be able to see the beautiful starry sky.</p>
<h4>Day2</h4>
<p>After breakfast We will leave the homestay house and head to <strong>Kuang Si Falls</strong>. We enter into jungle forests. Trekking across rice paddies, the orchards, farm land and forest, we will see the beauty scenery of Luang Prabang countryside on the way. As we continue to trekking, we reach the mountainous jungle and find natural springs which are source of Kuang Si Waterfall around 3-4 hours. Then we take a rest to enjoy lunch at waterfall. We explore the three layered Kuang Si waterfall walk the trails of the nature reserve and swim in the refreshing turquoise water pools and also visit the <strong>Bear Rescue Center</strong>. In the late afternoon we visit Kuang Si Butterfly park to see Laos’ myriad butterflies. From here we drive back to Luang Prabang and send back to your accommodation or city center between 5:30-6:00 PM.</p>
<h3>3 Days 2 Nights</h3>
<h4>Day 1</h4>
<p>Your tour guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Luang Prabang around 8:30-9:00 AM, then we drive to southeast of Luang Prabang about 30 min and arrive at <strong>Ban Phone Xay village</strong> or <strong>Ban Ber Hok (No 6 village)</strong>. Starting from this village, we will walk 4-5 hours, 10 km to <strong>Nong Kouay village. </strong>The paths along the way are picturesque and magnificent. With a stop for a picnic lunch, we will spend the day in the jungle, crossing streams, walking through bamboo forests, and climbing steep hills. After arriving in the village you will settle into your host family&#8217;s home and cook dinner. You will spend the night under the beautiful starry sky, interacting with the people of the village.</p>
<h4>Day2</h4>
<p>We will walk 8-10 km from Nong Kouay village to <strong>Long Lao village</strong>. After arriving at the village, you will tour with your guide to see how the Hmong and Khmu people live together and settle into your homestay.</p>

<p>Calculation formula: For the first person or solo traveler, the price is 175 euros (2 days), 254 euros (3 days). For each additional person, 55 euros (2 days) and 74 euros (3 days) will be added to the price for the first person. (2 days tour with 3 people 175+55X2=285 285÷3=€95)</p>
<p><strong>If there are other participants in your group, the difference will be refunded to your card after the tour ends. </strong></p>
<p>If a party consist of a solo traveler and 2 other participants and these 3 people travel for 2 days together, the price per person is €95. The solo traveler can request a refund of €80 on the card you paid €175 to. (175-95=€80) The other two participants can also request a refund of 230-190 = 40 euros on the card they paid €230 to.</p>
<p>This tour does not run every day and is usually just for your group. Therefore, please do not book with the expectation of discounts from other participants.</p>

We will stop and see varied Hmong and other hill tribe minority villages along the road. They are nice, friendly and welcome you to visit. Continue driving uphill, enjoying the mountain scenery, forest, and landscape. Around noon, we stop at </span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Muang Phu Khoun</span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">, a village in the heart of the Hmong people. We have a lunch break and enjoy the magnificent mountain scenery. Afterward, we continue our way and then stop at the town of <strong>Nong Tang</strong> and see a site of more than 200 years old Buddha images in </span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Tham Pha Caves</span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">. The caves were also hospitals and shelters during the Indochina wars. Upon arrival at Phonsavan, we check in at the hotel and have free time.</span></p>

<p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">After breakfast, we will move on to visit the Jarls Plain. The UNESCO World Heritage Committee has presented Laos with a certificate allowing the registration of the Jarls Plain as a World Heritage Site in 2019. The site encompasses hundreds of large stone jars scattered across the plateau. We will visit Thong Hai Hin, known as Jarl Site 1. It is the most visited archaeological site located 8 km southwest of the city. </span></p>
<p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Jahr Site 2 (Hai Hin Hoo Sarat) is approximately 20 km southwest of the city. Next, at Ban Na Pia, near site 2, the villagers of Tay Puan reuse UXO scrap from unexploded bombs to make spoons, which they sell as souvenirs.</span></p>
<p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">In the afternoon, we will head to the ancient capital of <strong>Muang Khoun</strong>, the 14th-century royal palace of the Phuan Kingdom and the capital of the French colonial provincial city until recently. Once a major city along with Luang Prabang, today only a few ruins remain, including Wat Piawat. The invasion of Thai and Vietnamese soldiers, the looting by Chinese bandits in the 19th century, and a bomb storm that lasted nearly a decade during the Second Indochina War left the town devastated, and the kingdom&#8217;s elaborate temples nothing remained. The parts of the town had been reduced to ruins by 1975.</span></p>
<p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Afterward, we return to Phonsavan at around 4 pm and visit </span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">MAG UXO Center </span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">and </span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Official Tourist Information Center</span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true"> to deepen our understanding of history. </span></p>
