Half-Day Mountain Bike Tour (H27)

Immerse yourself in the landscapes of Luang Prabang with a premium biking experience.

Start your day with a convenient pickup from your accommodation and a relaxing van ride to Ban Xang Hai (the Whiskey Village). Here, you will be fitted with a high-quality Trek Marlin 7 mountain bike and safety gear. Your 14-kilometer journey follows the scenic Nam Ou and Mekong Rivers, passing through lush rice paddies, charming villages, and colorful temples.

An Active Adventure with Full Support While the route features stunning riverside views, it is designed for those who enjoy an active lifestyle. Expect a mix of paved roads and off-road dirt trails, including some rolling hills and a 100-meter climb.

• Ride with Confidence: You don’t need to be a pro, but moderate fitness is recommended. A support truck follows the group the entire way—if the hills get too tough or you simply want a break, you can hop in the truck at any time.

• Local Connection: Guided by our friendly, professional English-speaking experts, you’ll stop at local villages, a primary school (on weekdays), and markets to truly connect with Laotian culture.

Relax & Refuel After your ride, refresh with a shower and enjoy a highly-rated buffet lunch at Manifa Elephant Camp, overlooking the river.

This tour is also available in the afternoon. You can choose between 8:30 and 12:30 on the reservation form. (Please note that there may be an under-represented number of participants and we may ask you to change to one of the two options.) For afternoon tours, the above cycling itinerary will be carried out after lunch.
