The tributaries of the Mekong River near Luang Prabang, such as the Khan River, which joins the Mekong River at Luang Prabang town, and the Ou River, which joins the Mekong River at Pak Ou, are ideal for kayaking because of their slow flow and clear water.

The view from the kayak is magnificent. The natural landscape of Laos unfolds before your eyes. You can also catch a glimpse of the lives of the people who live the old-fashioned way, playing in the river, fishing, and gathering laver, which you cannot easily see in the tourist spots in town.

We offer small group guided kayak trips range from one day to multi-day excursions, and we combine kayak trips with waterfalls, homestays, trekking, biking, and elephant experience. All tours are accompanied by an experienced English-speaking tour guide as instructor. We also provide all equipment. Beginners and families can participate safely.
