Pick up from your hotel in Nong Khiaw at 8:30. We will take a boat ride on the Nam Ou River to a small village Ban Donkhoun. On the way we have a short stop to visit the cliff the people 5-600 years ago drawing and painting inform of this cliff. We will have time to explore the village to see the lifestyle, culture and traditions along this river. We will also see how the locals make Lao whisky from sticky rice. After exploring the village, we will begin our trek to 100 waterfalls in the jungle. As you walk through the green jungle, you will hear the sound of waterfalls. Splashing in the surrounding puddles, you will be exhilarated as you continue on your way and arrive at the first of the 100 waterfalls. The sound of flowing waterfalls mixed with the chirps of birds and insects continues for over an hour until you reach the summit of the last of the 100 waterfalls. Take a shower and refresh yourself while admiring the spectacular view. There we will have a picnic lunch. At 15:00 pm, our boat will start the way back to Nong Khiaw. Enjoy the peaceful landscape along the river.
