Your adventure begins around 9:30 AM with a hotel pickup, followed by a relaxing Mekong River cruise—the perfect introduction to “slow travel” in Laos. Upon arrival, you’ll bypass the main crowds and embark on a special 45-minute trek along a secluded forest trail. This path leads you through the protected watershed, the very source of Kuang Si’s magic, where ancient trees stand guard over the springs.

This hidden trail brings you to a beautiful natural spring. Here, nestled by the water in a tranquil outdoor setting, you’ll find a small, open-air restaurant run by a local Khmu family—a place rarely seen by other visitors. Enjoy your lunch (choice of dishes) in this stunning natural plaza, knowing your meal directly supports the local community.

After lunch, you’ll reach the top of the falls and descend to the main cascades. Enjoy 2.5 to 3 hours of free time to swim in the stunning turquoise pools, relax, or explore the jungle trails.
