You will be warmly welcomed at Vientianeg Airport. You will also be escorted to your hotel. Afterwards, we explore the charming and laid-back capital of Laos with a city tour: Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple with thousands of miniature Buddha statues, and Wat Phra Keo, the former royal temple where the famous Emerald Buddha statue was located. On the way to the famous sacred structure, the That Luang Stupa, a national treasure of Laos, we will also have the opportunity to photograph the imposing Patuxai Monument, known as the Arc de Triomphe of Vientiane. Finally, Learn about Laos’ tragic past and present suffering at the COPE Centre, an organization that works with victims of unexploded bombs and mines. We will guide you through Vientiane night market. After you enjoy your free time in the evening, we will drop you off at your hotel.
We leave the capital early and journey north through lush countryside to Vang Vieng. Arriving at Vang Vieng we check into your hotel, nestled on the banks of the Nam Song River. The remainder of the day offers free time.
Rent a motorbike (one per person) in Vang Vieng for a full day adventure with your guide. Visit Nam Xay Viewpoint, climb to the viewpoint – 250m (approx. 30mins). Once you reach the top you will find the most spectacular views, with picturesque landscape over the paddy fields that “pop” out in clear view from their flat surroundings.
After the trek back down the mountain, you will continue to visit Tham Phu Kham Cave and Blue Lagoon. Tham Phu Kham Cave and Blue Lagoon is an improvised eco-water park in a scenic village close to Vang Vieng. Observe sharp stalactites and stalagmites as you descend down steep walls to reach the largest hall of the cave, which holds the bronze statue of a reclining Buddha, with several other smaller Buddha images revered by locals. The green-blue waters of the lagoon outside the cave provide a beautiful relaxation spot, as well as the opportunity to re-live your younger years as you jump off a tree into the water. During your tour, you can also try your hand at abseiling one of the water slides. You will be back to the city and have time for lunch.
In the afternoon, we visit Tham Chang cave (Elephabt Cave), one of the biggest and most beautiful caves in Vang Vieng. The sight is worth the climb as the view inside the cave is spectacular. If time permits, a optional boat cruise on the Nam Song River to admire the sunset is available. ($10 per boat) we will return to the hotel. (Lunch)
Travel from Vang Vieng to Luang Prabang on the new Laos high-speed train C86 8:31 – 9:25 or C82 12:02-12:58. (Large vehicles are not allowed in Luang Prabang as it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.)

Get up early to get the opportunity to participate in the daily morning rituals of saffron-clad monks collecting alms (ubiquitous sticky rice) from the faithful residents. This tradition is very unique in Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving the tradition. From there, we will visit the morning market where you can see a big diversity of local products, such as dried buffalo skin, local tea, vegetables.
After breakfast, we will drive to the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfalls. Along the way, you will visit a Hmong village and a small museum built by the villagers to witness the life and culture of the people who originally lived in the highlands. Kuang Si Waterfalls spans a large area through some of the lushest jungle around Luang Prabang. Easy walking trails wind past numerous pools and cascading waterfalls where you can relax and swim. There are small private changing rooms near the waterfall where you can change into your swimming suit. To ensure we can provide you with the best experience during our peak season (November to March), we highly recommend booking your tours well in advance.
**Furthermore, for guests who book early, we promise to accommodate date changes free of charge and will make every effort to rearrange your schedule whenever possible.**
As a dedicated small team, our booking operations become extremely busy during this period. A surge of last-minute requests puts significant pressure on our arrangement process.
Therefore, last-minute bookings (made a few days or the day before travel) are often difficult to arrange. If we cannot secure your tour, a full refund will be processed, but we want you to avoid this disappointment.
This is especially critical for **Private Tours**, which require individual arrangements for guides and vehicles.
Your early booking is essential for us to secure these services and helps our team immensely in preparing your trip. We truly appreciate your cooperation!
We look forward to welcoming you!
