Select seeds, help sow or transplant seedlings, learn an indigenous salt trick for choosing healthy grains, plow a paddy behind a water buffalo, and practice transplanting or harvesting under the guidance of local farmers.

After threshing and winnowing, enjoy a farm-to-table lunch served in an authentic Lao house. Taste sticky rice you helped prepare, hear stories of water sharing and seasonal life, and experience hospitality that returns value directly to the community.

To conclude your trip, enjoy a leisurely sunset cruise back to Luang Prang on the Mekong River as the sky turns golden and rose-colored. Watch riverside life — fishermen, children, buffalo — and return to Luang Prabang with a deeper sense of how water, work, and community sustain one another. (Returning to Luang Prabang around 6:30 PM)
